Miso Cream Pasta

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • big spoonful of miso

  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

  • thai basil

  • protein and pasta of your choice

Boil your pasta

Cook your protein in a pan (i like cod, shrimp, or chicken for this one), and remove

Add butter to pan, melt, then add garlic

Add miso and heavy cream, and whisk until smooth

Add pasta (don’t bother straining, just add straight from the pot), turn off heat and mix to combine

Mix in Thai basil, plate, top with your protein

The Bullshit

This is one of my go to weekday dinners. It’s insanely easy to throw together at the last minute, the hardest part being cooking your protein (which I guess you technically don’t even have to do).

Even my kids eat it (though they complain about the Thai Basil).
